Green Bay Packers Tickets

The Green Bay Packers have a deceptively illustrious history. The town of Green Bay houses about 100,000 people, compared to the millions populating other NFL sponsored cities. Despite or, perhaps, because of this, the Packers have one of the most successful histories in the NFL. For one, they’ve won more league championships than any other professional football team. Secondly, they are the only team to win a title three years in a row. Third, they’re the only team to win a title three years in a row a second time. Lastly, before the Super Bowl was even called the Super Bowl, the Green Bay Packers were winning it.

During the first two years the NFL and AFL had their contest, the name Super Bowl had not yet been officially adopted. Even so, these are considered Super Bowls I and II. The Green Bay Packers won them both. If being able to say that your team won the very first Super Bowl doesn’t qualify as bragging right, what does? It didn’t end there, either. They went on to win yet another Super Bowl in 1997, with well-known quarterback Brett Favre leading the team to victory. Favre, a bit of a celebrity in his own right, is quickly becoming a legend. He is the third quarterback in NFL history, along with Dan Marino and John Elway, to throw more than 50,000 yards in his career. He is one of the Green Bay Packers’ strongest assets, and can provide the sort of leadership needed to take the team to its next Super Bowl.
